Description
The A-Rosa Aqua is a Rhine river cruise ship from A-ROSA River Cruises. At 135m long and 11.4m wide, the A-ROSA Rhine vessels are even longer than their Danube counterparts, but not as wide. The ship has three decks plus a sun deck. Swan Hellenic is currently (2011) offering Rhine cruises on the A-Rosa Aqua under a partnership agreement with A-ROSA.
History
The A-Rosa Aqua was built in 2009 at the Neptun Werft GmbH shipyard, Warnemünde
Dining
As you would expect, there are a number of wining and dining options. The ship offers Mediterranean style cuisine with regional specialties. Dining is buffet style restaurants with both indoor and outdoor restaurant areas. The atmosphere is relaxed with no standard dress code or fixed dining seating. Guests can enjoy a selection of wines and exotic cocktails at one of the bars. Both outside and inside bars are available.
Entertainment
Recreation activities include an outdoor pool on the sun deck, shuffleboard, giant chess, a putting green. For health and well-being the SPA-ROSA has first class spa facilities with professional trainers, range of beauty and cosmetic treatment, panorama sauna, bio-sanarium and a whirlpool on the deck
Cabins
The ship can carry a maximum of 204 passengers in 100 comfortable outer cabins. The cabins are around 14.5 m². Category C and D: cabins have a French balcony with opening doors to enjoy the views. Category S cabins offer affordable family accommodation with a two berths and a sofa bed.
