Description Carnival Glory is a part of the Carnival Cruise Line’s Conquest class fleet. Carnival Glory is 290.2m in length and has a beam of 35.4. The ship's impressive public areas include the two deck high Old Glory Atrium and the three deck high Spectrum Atrium. Featuring a massive health club of nearly 14, 000 sq ft, a 214 feet long Carnival Water slide, 24 hour dining options, passengers are well catered for in the ship's 1,489 suites and cabins.
Destinations Carnival Glory’s major trips are to the Eastern and Western parts of the Caribbean and New England and Canada. Caribbean cruises depart from Miami, featuring ports such as St Thomas at Virgin Islands, Nassau at Bahamas, Caicos, Turks, San Juan, Cayman Islands, Belize, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Grand Turk. Cruises to Canada and New England depart from New York port, featuring ports such as: Boston, Saint John, Nova Scotia, Portland, New Brunswick, Massachusetts and Halifax.
History Carnival Glory was built in Italy at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone in 2003. Carnival Glory is one of the “Fun Ships” that are a part of the Carnival Cruise Line.
Dining The dining options on the Carnival Glory includes the Golden restaurant, Platinum restaurant, Red Sail restaurant, On the Green Sports bar, Kaleidoscope bar, Bar Blue, Burgundy wine bar, a Steakhouse, The Cinn-a-bar Piano bar, Creams Café, Turquoise lido pool bar, Azure lido bar, Fish & Chips and Oriental. Snack options include a Deli, pizzeria and a grill by the poolside.
Entertainment Water recreation includes the Turquoise lido pool, Azure lido pool, Cobalt pool and a separate pool for the kids. Entertainment includes the Ivory Cigar Club, the Amber palace lounge, Club Crimson lounge, White heat dance club and Ebony Cabaret. Children and teens are well catered for with facilities such as Carnival, Circle C and Club O2.
The top two decks are dedicated to beauty and health treatments and various sports activities, including spa, gym, aerobics centre, massage room, a steam and a sauna. The sports deck has options like a basket ball court, a volley ball court and a mini golf.
Cabins Carnival Glory has 1,487 suites and cabins. Top of the range is the Penthouse suites at nearly 400 sq ft., with other suite options at nearly 300 sq ft. Suites have private balconies. The Ocean view balcony suites at 200 sq ft have a balcony space. There are also Ocean view staterooms without balconies and Interior staterooms.
