Description Carnival Liberty is part of the Carnival cruise Lines’ Conquest class. This vessel has 13 decks of fun dining and entertainment. The interiors of the cruise were done by Carnival cruise lines’ interior decorator Joe Farcus. Built by Fincantieri in Italy, the ship is 290m long and weighs in at 110,000 gross tons.
Destinations Carnival Liberty cruises to the Eastern Caribbean which is usually a seven days trip that departs from Miami with stops at various ports such as Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, Virgin Islands, St Thomas, San Juan and Puerto Rico.
The ship also cruises from Miami to the Western Caribbean islands features ports such as Jamaica, Georgetown, Cayman islands, Cozumel.
History Carnival Liberty was built in Italy at Fincantieri shipyard in 2005. Her maiden voyage in 2006 was a sixteen day transatlantic trip. The ship later began cruising to the Caribbean. The famous Hollywood female actor Mira Sorvino is the God mother of the ship.
Dining Dining options on Carnival Liberty vary from elaborate restaurants, to musical lounge and bar, to quick snacks at the pool. Options include The Golden Olympian and The Silver Olympian Restaurants, Paparazzi wine bar, Grille, Emile’s Lido restaurant, Mexican Restaurant, Harry’s Steakhouse, Fish & Chips, Grand Buffet and a pizzeria.
Entertainment Carnival Liberty provides a range of entertainment for the amusement to its guests. The Venetian Palace main lounge, The Cabinet Cigar bar, Czar's palace casino and the Hot n Cool dance club are ideal for the adults on board the cruise. Common fun areas for every guest on the cruise are the Carnival’s Seaside Theater and the video gaming center. Water fun is popular at the various pools like Versailles Pool, Tivoli Pool and Coney Island Pool. The other places of interests for the children are Camp Carnival, Circle C and Club 02.
Carnival Liberty also includes healthy activities for the guests while at sea, like the basket ball court, Mini Golf court, volleyball court, a jogging track, a gym and an aerobics center. Those who prefer a more relaxed and pampered experience can visit Spa Carnival, Massage and Relaxation rooms, and Sauna.
Cabins Accommodation facilities can be broadly categorized into four groups, based on the comforts provided. The Suites on Carnival Liberty have enough balcony space and are sized at nearly 400 sq ft. The Ocean view staterooms at 300 sq ft also include a balcony. There are also Ocean view staterooms and interior cabins.
