CARNIVAL PRIDE FACTS

Description Carnival Pride is a Spirit class vessel in the Carnival cruise line fleet, and sister ship to Carnival Spirit, Carnival Legend and Carnival Miracle. One of the many impressive features of the ship is the central Atrium, which is a nine storey high structure and popular spot to socialise. The interior features fine art work, which extends to the various dining rooms on the ship.
Destinations Carnival Pride cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Cruises are typically around a week and depart from the port of Baltimore, Maryland. Ports of call on the Bahamas cruise are Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, Freeport in the Bahamas.
History Carnival Pride was built at the Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Helsinki, Finland in 2001. The interior of the ship was designed by Joe Farcus, who managed to include master pieces of Michelangelo, Raphael, Botticelli and more in the ship. The ship is harbored at Baltimore and makes most of her trips from this port. Its maiden cruise was a six day trip to the Caribbean from the port of Miami, in December 2001. Later in 2002, she was moved to the port of Baltimore.
Dining Dining options include the Normandy restaurant, the Ivory piano bar, the Lido restaurant, Poseidon's bar, the Piazza café, Perfect Game Sports bar, Venus bar, Asian Corner, Tastes of the nation, David's Steakhouse. Other casual dining includes a deli, grand buffet, salad bar, sushi bar, pizzeria and pool side snack bars.
Entertainment The Taj Mahal Main lounge, Starry night jazz club, Beauties Dance Club, Butterflies Lounge, The Winners Club Casino, Florentine Lounge and Raphael Lounge provide great range of entertainment options for guests. The young ones are catered for with places like, Club O2, Circle C, Camp Carnival and the various water slides and pools. An ideal place for both young ones and grownups is the Real Virtuality Video Arcade.
The Spa carnival has massage rooms, steams and saunas. Guests who prefer a good exercise while at sea can choose to play at the basketball or the volleyball court or other indoor games. There is also a mini golf course, a gym, aerobics center and a jogging track.
Cabins The cabins on Carnival Pride are furnished and decorated with themed interiors. The main accommodation options are Balcony cabins, Ocean view staterooms and the Interior staterooms. For more up market cruising, there are larger Suites that can sleep up to four or five guests.
