Description Celebrity Infinity is one of Celebrity cruise line's four Millennium–class ships. The three decks high Grand Foyer is a centerpiece with marble staircase, ocean-facing elevators that give panoramic sea views. The ship even has a Conservatory garden. Celebrity Infinity is sister ship to Celebrity Millennium (2000), Celebrity Summit (2001) and Celebrity Constellation (2002). The ship is scheduled for refurbishment in 2011.
Destinations Celebrity Infinity sails to Alaska, Panama Canal and South America. The Alaskan cruise is typically a 7-day or an 11-day cruise from Seattle or Vancouver, its ports of call are, Alaska, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan, Washington, Juneau, Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait Point, British Columbia, Victoria and Sitka. The cruise to the Panama Canal depart from San Diego or the port of Fort Lauderdale either a 14-night or a 15-night trip featuring ports such as Acapulco, Montego Bay, Cristobal Pier, Colombia, Costa Rica, Huatulco, Cartagena, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.
Celebrity Infinity also has cruises to the South American regions featuring ports such as Elephant Island, Falkland Islands, Montevideo, La Serena, Cape Horn, Buenos Aires, Ecuador, Chilean Fjords, Strait Of Magellan, Puerto Montt, Ushuaia, Paradise Bay, Valparaiso, Cartagena, Puerto Madryn and Gerlache Straight.
History Celebrity Infinity was launched in 2001, and was originally named Infinity. In 2007 the ship received the name Celebrity Infinity. She had her maiden voyage in California at San Pedro in the month of April 2001and was inaugurated by Solveig Wilhelmsen her godmother.
Dining The fine and casual dining options on Celebrity Infinity are the famous SS United States Restaurant, the Michael’s Club, the two deck high Trellis restaurant, an authentic Cova Café, a Champagne bar, a Marini bar, Mast bar, an Ocean view café, grill, and bar.
Entertainment Celebrity Infinity entertainment includes the Celebrity Theater, the Fortunes Casino, the Rendezvous Lounge, the cruise’s Card room, the Breeze pool, the Tower the cruise unique music library, the Video Arcade, Constellation dance club and Fun Factory for the kids on board.
Health and relaxation options include the Aqua Spa, the Acupuncture, Persian Garden, Hair Salon, and the Solarium. Guests can also get a good workout at the Cardio Vascular Equipment room, Aerobics Center and Jogging track.
Cabins The options available on the cruise are the Penthouse Suites at 1200 sq ft, Royal Suites at 600 sq ft, and Sky Suites at 350 sq ft. The Celebrity Concierge Class cabins, Sunset Verandah Staterooms and Premium Ocean view with Verandah cabins at 200 sq ft include balcony space as well. Also available are Ocean view Staterooms (no balcony) and Interior Staterooms.
