CHINA STAR FACTS

Description
The China Star is unusual for a cruise ship in that it has a twin-hull design. This SWATH design (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull), minimises the hull area in contact with the water surface giving more stability in rough seas. This is similar to a catamaran, but with SWATH design, the bulk of the twin hulls are under the water.

Destinations
the China Star cruises from Hong Kong

History
The China Star was originally built for Radisson cruises in 1992 and sailed as Radisson Diamond (now known as Regent Seven Seas Cruises). She was bought by China Cruises Company in 2012 and renamed the China Star.
