ARION FACTS

Description Arion is a smaller cruise ship, carrying around 320 passengers, and has the feel of a large yacht. Her smaller size allows the shop to visit ports that are not accessible to large cruise ships. The ship has a European crew of around 130.
History MS Arion was built in Pula, Croatia in 1965 and was originally named the Istra, a Yugoslavian passenger ship. She was bought by Arcalia Shipping Company (ASC) in 2000 and underwent extensive reconstruction. ASC became Classic International.
Dining There is a restaurant offering international cuisine prepared by international chefs. For more informal eating, there is also the Lido Lounge Bar.
Entertainment Facilities onboard include main lounge which seats 3000 and presents live entertainment in the evenings. There is also a piano bar, club room, boutique, beauty salon and casino. On the promenade deck, there is a swimming pool, and space to enjoy the sun and ocean views.
Cabins There are 162 passenger cabins, most of which are outside cabins. There are only 16 inside cabins. All cabins are have en suite facilities.
