EURODAM FACTS

Description
Eurodam considered as the largest cruise belonging to the Holland America Line and came into service in 2008. It belongs to the Signature class that seems to have evolved from the previous ships of HAL to a medium size cruise with over 10 decks that gives an expansive ocean view cruising at 22 knots and weighing 86,700 tons.

Eurodam has cruises to the Caribbean, Canada, New England and Europe.
History
Eurodam came into service in the year 2008 and was named at a ceremony in Netherlands by the Queen Beatrix, who is the third Queen inaugurating Holland America Cruise Line. Eurodam’s first voyage was from Copenhagen. Every time the cruise made her first call at a port, a plaque was given to the ship from the port. On the deck 10 of the mid ship, one can these proudly exhibited memories.
Dining
Eurodam, unlike the other HAL cruise, has more dining options such as Lido bar and restaurant, an Asian cuisine restaurant called Tamarind, Canaletto - the ship’s famous Italian restaurant, Pinnacle Grill, The Rembrandt dining room, Explorations café, a Bonney O’Malley bar, Slice popular for its pizzas, Crow’s nest a happening night-club on the ship and the famous Lido restaurant. The cruise also has a Sports bar and a piano bar.
Entertainment
The famous ‘Show lounge’, a place where vocalists, dancers, and various magic and comedy shows happen is the most popular entertainment option. The Culinary arts centre that has interactive cookery lessons given by chefs, Club HAL and the Loft a place for kids and teens to hang out and have loads of fun activities are the other option on board Eurodam. There’s also a Casino for the ones that like to roll the dice.
There is a Greenhouse Spa, Salon and a fitness centre for those passengers that like to be pampered. The cruise also has a Therapy room, Thermal suite, a sauna, and a hydro pool. The health and fitness related areas are located close to each other on the Lido deck, also referred to as deck 9 of the ship. It also has basket ball and a volley ball court on deck 11.
Cabins
Cabin accommodation includes ocean view staterooms, inside staterooms and obstructed view staterooms. Suite accommodation includes Penthouse Verandah suites, Deluxe Verandah suites with some that include a balcony; Superior Verandah suites.
