NORWEGIAN JADE FACTS

Description The Norwegian Jade features distinctive hull art, in similar style to other NCL cruise ships. Norwegian Jade is the second ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line Jewel Class, and sister ship to Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Pearl, and Norwegian Gem. Each ship has a similar exterior and interior design.
Destinations The Norwegian Jade has trips throughout the Northern and Western Europe.
History The ship entered service under the name of ‘Pride of Hawaii’ in 2006, and was christened at the San Pedro Pier in Los Angele. She was renamed Norwegian Jade in 2008. This ship was built in Papenburg Germany by Meyer Werft in 2006.
Dining The Norwegian Jade provides a wide spectrum of cafes, restaurants, bars, lounges, pizzeria etc to cater to various needs and tastes. From the seas of Japan to the pan of Italy and a touch of Asia as well. Some of its top of the list dinning places are: Alizar Main Restaurant, Jasmine Garden Asian Restaurant, Papa’s Italian Restaurant, Cagney’s Stake house, Medusa Cabaret and bar, Sushi Bar etc.
Entertainment There are a myriad of entertainment options for adults also to choose from. Stardust Theatres is for passengers who love watching plays. The other options you can choose from are karaoke, crew shows, theme parties, comedy, juggling, ballet, Bingo, light Opera and quiz. The ship also provides a lot of entertainment for the children on board, it has a beautiful and colourful area for the kids to hang out and have a lot of fun with places like the Tree Top Kids Centre, a theatre, several computers for gamming and learning and a Sapphire Kid’s pool.
The Norwegian Jade also has a fitness centre for those who want to continue their work out sessions even on their trips. It also has a Spa for those who want to be pampered. For those passengers who prefer a relaxing game while at sea have options from tennis, golf court, a basket ball and a volley ball court.
Cabins Accommodation includes Balcony staterooms, Ocean view stateroom, (some with an Obstructive view) and Inside staterooms. Norwegian Jade also offers Garden villas, Courtyard villas, Owner’s suite, Penthouse suite, a Romance suite, a Spa suite, and a Mini Suite, that vary in space from 4000 sq ft to 790 sq ft well furnished with exotic interiors to give that luxurious finish, these suites include a living, dining, and expansive baths, with a private balcony, an ocean view, a private sun deck as well.
