PACIFIC SUN FACTS

Description
Pacific Sun is operated by P&O Cruises Australia. In September 2008 she underwent a refit in Brisbane and painted all white to match sister ship Pacific Dawn. The top deck was changed to an adults-only spa area with new whirlpool. A new gym area was built, with old gym converted to a relaxation room for the Lotus Spa. The library was transformed into a steakhouse and new coffee bar introduced.

Destinations
Pacific Sun cruises the South Pacific and tropical Queensland. She is currently based out of Brisbane. Cruises depart from Brisbane and Auckland in New Zealand. The ship cruises on 7 - 21 night holidays to South Pacific and Australian destinations.

History
The ship was originally built for Carnival Cruise Lines as MS Jubilee and commenced service in 1986. She was one three Holiday class ships along with MS Holiday and MS Celebration. In 2004, the ship was transferred to P&O Cruises Australia, and renamed Pacific Sun.

Entertainment
Passenger facilities include outdoor pools and whirlpool spas, Lotus Spa, fitness centre, duty-free shopping, show lounge, casino, several bars and lounges. There are supervised activity programs for children and teens,

Pacific Sun has 740 passenger cabins including 10 suites with balconies, 432 standard outside cabins and 298 standard inside cabins.
