AURORA FACTS

Description The Aurora cruise ship is a fairly traditional vessel with classic British design. She offers an elegant cruising experience, with features such as the water cascades down the Atrium, providing a peaceful central space. As you would expect, there are numerous bars, shops and lounges. The MV Aurora entered service in 2000 and is owned and operated by P&O Cruises. Her relatively shallow draught of about 8m, enabling her to access most commercial ports around the world.
Destinations She sails from Southampton in England with over 120 P&O cruises departing from the port every year. P&O also offers chartered air departures from London Gatwick and Manchester for all their Caribbean fly-cruises
History Aurora was built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany in 2000.
Entertainment Facilities include twelve bars, Marco Pierre White restaurant, open deck grill, three swimming pools including one with skydome, Crow's Nest bar, golf simulator, 660 seat theatre, spa and gym.
Cabins Aurora has a total of 939 cabins. Accommodation is comfortable with a range of options from inside staterooms to luxurious penthouse suite. You can choose from inside staterooms, outside staterooms with picture window, balcony staterooms with floor to ceiling patio door access to own balcony, mini suites, suites and penthouse suite with private bathroom, spa and floor to ceiling patio doors to upper level balcony.
