CRUISE SHIP FACTS
|
Description MS Navigator of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean International five Voyager class cruise ships. Some design changes were made for this cruise ship, making her the first of the next generation of the Voyager class. Some of the main differences are the glass balconies build outside the ship's superstructure, and the enlarged Royal Promenade mall. MS Navigator of the Seas is almost identical to her sister ship, the Mariner of the Seas, which shares the same second generation design.
Destinations The Navigator of the Seas visits over a hundred ports of call including ports in Alaska, Canada, New England, Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. Shore excursions from various points on your cruise enable you to experience new locations from tropical hideaways, to rugged mountains and arctic fiords depending on your itinerary. Cruise tours provide a combination of cruise vacation and land tour opening up even more possibilities. From 2007 she spends winter cruising four and five night cruises from Port Everglades in Florida, and spends the summers cruising from Barcelona, Spain and Civitaveccia, Italy.
History MS Navigator of the Seas is fourth of the Royal Caribbean International Voyager-class cruise ships. She was built at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland in 2002.
